2012 Women Let It Go Conference set for Oct. 25-27

TIFTON — Pastor Tameka Rogers-Colbert and Shekinah Glory International Ministries (SGIM), located at 512 W. 23rd St. (old Beulah Hill Church), will hold its first annual Women Let It Go Conference and Girl Let It Go Teen Conference Thursday, Oct. 25-27 at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center, located at 15 RDC Road.

Conference itinerary are as follows:

• Thursday, Oct. 25: Registration begins at 5:30-6:45 p.m. Services begin at 7 p.m. with Dr. Angela Man- ning from Valdosta as guest speaker.

• Friday, Oct. 26: Regis- tration begins at 9-9:45 a.m. Morning services begin at 10 a.m. with First Lady Cindy Evers from Northside Baptist Church as the

guest speaker. Speaker for 11 a.m. services will be Evangelist Tameka Webb from Atlanta. Evening registra- tion will begin at 5:30-6:45 p.m. Serv- ices begin at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Christina Glenn- Weeks from Atlanta as guest speaker.

• Saturday, Oct. 27: Morning registration be- gins at 9-9:45 p.m. Services begin at 10 a.m. with Evangelist Tameka Rogers-Colbert from SGIM as speaker. Speaker for the 11 a.m. services will be Evangelist Shane Perry from Atlanta.

• Registration for the Girl Let It Go Conference begins at 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday af- ternoon services begin at 3 p.m. with 15-year- old Jekalyn Carr from Arkansas as guest speaker. Registration for the evening services begin at 5:30-6:45 p.m. Services begin at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Tonya Hall of Jacksonville, Fla. as guest speaker.

There will also be a free health fair sponsored by Tift Regional Hospital; information regarding adoption, foster care services, child abuse, etc., sponsored by the Tift County Department of Family and Children Services; and other information packed vendors.

The registration fee for the women conference is $20 and preferred seating is $40. The registration fee for the teen conference is $10 and preferred seating is $20.

Missionary Rogers said the title of the conference, “Women Let It Go,” is based upon the Christian book, “Women Let It Go,” written by Pastor Colbert. Pastor Colbert is also the author of a Children book titled, “See, I Can Read Too!"

Pastor Colbert and members of Shekinah Glory International Ministries are excited about the women and teen confer- ence, and they are asking everyone to come out and help support this great event, as well as witness the move of God.
