ABC students learn enjoyment of reading

TIFTON — The week of February 25 through March 1 was packed full of fun reading activities for Annie Belle Clark Primary School students. The school celebrated the birthday of famed children’s author Dr. Seuss with a different Seuss theme each day. The week concluded with “Read Across America Day” on Friday. Students dressed as their favorite story book characters. City of Tifton Mayor Jamie Cater read a Dr. Seuss book to students and lead the Character Parade through the ABC halls. Many guest readers read to classrooms during the day as well. Pictured on the front row, from left, are Lexi Raye Braselton, Juliana Hooks, Ainsley Toews and Emery Huggins.
