Death notices for Aug. 31

Willie B. Brown of Conyers, formerly of Chula died at Westbury Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Saint John Baptist, Sunsweet with burial to follow at St. John Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. today for public viewing. A wake will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. tonight. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Brown of Conyers; children, Melvin Robinson, Willie B. Brown Jr., Davis Brown, Mario Bloodworth, Jonathon Bloodworth, Jeremy Brown, Christopher Brown, Demesha Cooper, Kiyah Brown and Kara Brown, all of Conyers; brother, Lewis Brown; sisters, Odessa Collier, Alice Mae Waters, Bobbie Mae Martin, Christine Brown, Beatrice Cushion and Sandra Cole. Melton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
