NASHVILLE —
Little Carter Exum, 88, of Nashville died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Berrien County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight.
Mr. Exum was born Aug. 17, 1924 in Berrien County to the late Tim Exum and the late Minnie Luke. He was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by his wife, Rhoda Temples Exum, who died in 1998.
He is survived by two daughters, Christine (Charles) Bryan of the West Berrien Community and Carolyn (Donald) Vaughn of Lakeland; two sons, Alton (Susan) Exum of Nashville and Jerry Exum of Nashville; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
