NASHVILLE —
William B. “Bill” Langley Jr., 85, of Nashville died March 16, 2013 at the Berrien County Hospital. The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Tuesday.
Mr. Langley was born November 9, 1927 in Pulaski County to the late William Boyd Langley and the late Oveda Lancaster. He was a retired painter and the widower of Ruby Clanton Langley who died in 2005.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Wayne) Giddens of Adel and Linda Gail Harper of Alapaha; four grandchildren, Tina (Nick) Flanders, Jimmy Harper, Terri (Henry) Lopez and Sheri (John) Ballmann; five great-grandchildren, Sara Flanders, Brodie Flanders, Taylor Alligood, Caine Surrency and Will Ballmann; and a brother, Bobby Langley of Albany.
Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

Leaving aside the seriousness of lawlessness, and the corruption of our civic culture by the professionally pious, this past week has been amusing. There was the spectacle of advocates of an ever-larger regulatory government expressing shock about such government's large capacity for misbehavior. And, entertainingly, the answer to the question "Will Barack Obama's scandals derail his second-term agenda?" was a question: What agenda?
