Pete Giannars III, 41, of Blakely passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Early.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Odom and the Rev. Eric Smith officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Jason Giannars, Wil Giannars, Jake Lewis, Alton Marcus, John Williams, Junior Peek, Keith Rice and Adam Thompson serving as active pallbearers.

Pete was born Sept. 6, 1970 in Donalsonville, the son of Jeannie Lewis Giannars and Pete Giannars Jr. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1988 and was a District Manager for Harvey’s Super Markets. He attended Rebecca Baptist Church in Rebecca.
Survivors include his children, Wil Giannars of Blakely, Cecily Giannars of Blakely, Emily Giannars of Blakely, and Parker Grant Hobbs of Chula; his parents, Jeannie and Pete Giannars Jr. of Bainbridge; his brother, Jason Giannars of Bainbridge; the mothers of his children, Shannon Giannars Harper of Blakely and Amanda Hobbs of Chula; and his niece, Morgan "Maggie" Giannars of Bainbridge. Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
