Ronnie Eugene Gibbs, 64, of Enigma died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Services for the Gibbs family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ruby L. Tucker, 87, of Moultrie died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Among her survivors is her son, Willis Tucker, and her daughter, Louise Walker. Complete obituary information will be provided later. Arrangements for the Tucker family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

“Keep calm and stop the violence,” “Save our streets” and “No more violence” were the words echoed by Eighth Street Middle School students early Tuesday morning as they stood in front of the school behind caution tape and orange cones, shouting and holding up signs as they waved at passing motorists who smiled and returned the gesture.
