Season tickets for Tift County High football now on sale
TIFTON — Season tickets for the 2012 Tift County High Blue Devil football team are now on sale. The tickets for the five game, one scrimmage home schedule are $60.
The tickets will be sold in the front office from 8:30-11:30 a.m., and from 1-3:30 p.m.
Season ticket holders from last season will have until Aug. 16 to reserve those same seats for this coming season. If you were not a season ticket holder in 2011, there are still plenty of seats available for 2012.
Home games this season will be against Worth County (Sept. 14), Thomas County Central (Sept. 21), Colquitt County (Oct. 5), Valdosta (Oct. 19) and Lowndes (Oct. 26).
The preseason scrimmage will be Aug. 17 against Monroe (Albany).
The season officially begins for Tift County on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Albany’s Hugh Mills Stadium against Westover High.

Leaving aside the seriousness of lawlessness, and the corruption of our civic culture by the professionally pious, this past week has been amusing. There was the spectacle of advocates of an ever-larger regulatory government expressing shock about such government's large capacity for misbehavior. And, entertainingly, the answer to the question "Will Barack Obama's scandals derail his second-term agenda?" was a question: What agenda?
