Ian Stanley Burgin

NASHVILLE — Ian Stanley Burgin, 74, of Nashville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at his residence. The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 9, 1937 in Western Australia to the late Leslie George Burgin and the late Laura Lillian Kennedy. He was a minister of Nashville Church of Christ. He was a fixed base operator for the Cook County Airport and operated Burgin Flying Service; he was also active with the Civil Air Patrol at Moody Air Force Base.

He is survived by two brothers, Noel Burgin and Max Burgin, of Warren Wood, Victoria, Australia. Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
