Ian Stanley Burgin

NASHVILLE — Ian Stanley Burgin ,74, of Nashville died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at his residence. The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.

Mr. Burgin was born Dec. 9, 1937 in Western Australia to the late Leslie George Burgin and the late Laura Lillian Kennedy. He was a minister of the Nashville Church of Christ. He was also a fixed base operator for the Cook County Airport and operated Burgin Flying Service. He was also active with the Civil Air Patrol at Moody Air Force Base.

Mr. Burgin is survived by two brothers, Noel Burgin and Max Burgin of Warranwood, Victoria Australia.

Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
