Jon Price

CHULA — Jonathan “Jon” Glenn Price, 58, of Chula died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. Larry Layfield officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Born on March 22, 1954 in Tifton to the late Walter Glenn Price and Mattie Mae Powell Price, Mr. Price had been an outdoor sign electrician and an outdoorsman’s guide in Alaska, where he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Chula Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matt Price, and an infant sister, Dixie Price.

Survivors include two brothers, Clay Price of Sycamore and Charlie Price of Portland, Ore.
