The Tift County Sheriff’s Office was given an incorrect address for Amber Brittany Camp, 25, who was charged Tuesday with a probation violation. In Thursday's edition of The Gazette, it should have stated that she resides at 1112 S. Park Ave., Apt. B.

• A man reported Wednesday that while in the 4300 block of Buckingham Way, someone entered his vehicle and took property valued at $825.

Veronica Denise Lockett, 27, 1502 Brookvale Drive, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.
Rosielee Chantel Taylor, 17, 3315 Hill Ave., was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.

Linda Louise Mackin, 63, 1333 Ferry Lake Road, was charged Wednesday with simple battery.
Shemeka Marie Taylor, 35, 1611 Brookvale Drive, was charged Wednesday with a probation violation and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
ABAC CAMPUS POLICE
Shontonio M. Miley, 20, 2802 Moore Highway, ABAC Place, was charged Wednesday with two counts of making terroristic threats and acts.

Leaving aside the seriousness of lawlessness, and the corruption of our civic culture by the professionally pious, this past week has been amusing. There was the spectacle of advocates of an ever-larger regulatory government expressing shock about such government's large capacity for misbehavior. And, entertainingly, the answer to the question "Will Barack Obama's scandals derail his second-term agenda?" was a question: What agenda?
