Before the tornado warning, Vickie Hickman, deputy director of Tift County's Emergency Management Agency, told The Gazette that strong winds are expected between 6 and 9 tonight from the front coming through and then it's expected to ease up with the weather being noticeably cooler. “We’re watching it closely,” Hickman said.
A three-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon involving an ambulance, pickup truck and a Tift County Sheriff’s Office deputy car resulted in no injuries.

And, entertainingly, the answer to the question "Will Barack Obama's scandals derail his second-term agenda?" was a question: What agenda?
