ENIGMA —
Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Gibbs, 64, of Enigma, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Robinson will officiate with burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Terry Lupo, Larry Potts, Charles Goodman, Clay Goodman and other friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Gibbs was born on Feb. 27, 1948, in Tift County and was the son of Eugene Gibbs and Edna Lee Dover Gibbs, both of Enigma. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Edna Jean Gibbs. He was a retired surveyor.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gibbs is survived by one daughter, Monica Blair Gibbs of Florida.

Tattnall Square tops Tiftarea, 6-2
Ernie Banks used to say, "let's play two." In a game that was as long as two and was defined early on by errors and later by a pitching duel, it would be offense that propelled the Tattnall Square Trojans past the Tiftarea Academy Panthers, 6-2 in 14 innings. Tattnall, who won the first game of the series, 4-1 before dropping game two, 6-3, will meet Mount de Sales in the Class AAA semifinals next week.
