M.B. Pilkinton Jr.

SYCAMORE —  M.B. Pilkinton Jr., 62, of Sycamore died March 1, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon at Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Pilkinton was born in Tifton, the son of the late Morris B. Pilkinton Sr. and Tiny Wilson Pilkinton. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He had lived in Turner County all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Bean Pilkinton of Sycamore; his children, Stacey (Robert) Player of Crenshaw, Ala.; Kelly Pilkinton of Sycamore and Christy Pilkinton of Tifton; grandchildren, Monica and Cheyanne Player, both of Crenshaw, Ala. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, J.N. Pilkinton of Sycamore Buford Pilkinton of Salem, S.C.,Terry Pilkinton of Sycamore, Dorothy Pilkinton of Dallas, Venetia Smith of Leesburg, Ann Reeves, and Gloria Jean Cameron, both of Sycamore.
