Samuel Wiger

TIFTON — Samuel Wiger, 90, died March 6, 2013, at Southern Care Assisted Living.  Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1911 Whiddon Mill Road in Tifton. Chad Greenman will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.

Mr. Wiger was born  May 17, 1922 in Wingrove, W.V. and was the son of Michael Wiger and Anna Upshire Wiger, both deceased. He was a minister and a member of the West Tifton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Wiger is survived by his wife, whom he married on February 9, 1946, Virginia Ruth Holmes Wiger of Tifton; and one brother, Paul Wiger of Ocala, Florida.
