Sammy Manning, 50, of Nashville died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Funeral services are incomplete at the present time but will be announced at a later date. Professional care and services are entrusted to Southview Mortuary, Inc.
Vera Thomas, 77, of Tifton died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Springfield Baptist Church with committal services to follow at Oakridge Cemetery and a repast to follow at the church social hall. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children, Darlene Johnson and Charles Johnson, both of Tifton; and her sisters, Katherine Gordon, Anne Phillips and Betty Baker. Professional care and services are entrusted to Southview Mortuary, Inc.
Perry Griffin, 90, of Sparks died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Boone Funeral Home.
