NASHVILLE —
Dennis McCarty, 55, of Nashville. died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Fletcher Memorial Cemetery in Willacoochee. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Lovein Funeral Home.
Mr. McCarty was born Oct. 18, 1957 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Bruce McCarty and the late Peggy Dowdy. He was employed at Monroe Communications in Waycross as an electronic technician and he was an Air Force Veteran.
Mr. McCarty is survived by his wife, Paula Paulk McCarty of Nashville; three sons, Erik (Charlotte) Paulk of Pearson, Christopher McCarty of Nashville and Brian (Leea) McCarty of Adel; two sisters, Eileen Alvarado of Mich. and Marilyn Rudzitis of Ill.; two step-brothers, Stanley McCarty of Chicago, Ill. and Reid McCarty of Mich.; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
