Turner loses at Seminole

TIFTON — The Turner County Rebels fell 34-32 Friday night to the Seminole County Indians in a game played in Donalsonville.

Seminole had 435 yards of total offense in the game, compared to 298 for the Rebels.

Turner got touchdowns from Xavier Thomas on a 55-yard fumble recovery return, 24-yard and 1-yard runs by Mark Lamb, a Luke Soliday to Lebrentae High 67-yard touchdown pass and a Kendall Kicklighter 4-yard run.

After two weeks on the road, the Rebels will be finally at home this coming Friday as they will host the Calhoun County Cougars.

In other games in the Tiftarea, the Berrien High Rebels got a 34-6 victory Friday night over Brantley County in Nahunta.

It was the first win for Rob Armstrong at the helm of the Berrien squad.

Berrien will be at home this coming week to face the Lanier County Bulldogs.
