Lady Devils get 2-0 victory

TIFTON — Senior Ashlyn Jones pitched the Tift County Lady Devils to a 2-0 softball win Wednesday over the Lady Cougars of Crisp County.

In a complete game performance, Jones only allowed three hits, as she struck out four batters.

Allison Walker and Chelle McKellar each had a hit and a run scored in the game for Tift. Jones and Taylor Simmons got the RBIs on those two runs.

Tift will play in the Vikette Invitational this weekend, and will be at home Tuesday against Region 1-AAAAAA foe Colquitt County.
