• A juvenile who lives in the 500 block of East 18th Street reported Tuesday that when he came home from school, he noticed that the side door to the residence was standing open. He told police that someone rummaged through most of the rooms. Also, a 60-inch flat screen television was missing from the living room. When the juvenile’s mother arrived on scene, she reported that several tools were missing and some of her son’s clothes were missing.

Wilma Jean Brown, 61, 400 E. 16th St., was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.
Tonyel Vanitia Byron, 36, 716 S. Ridge Ave., was charged Tuesday with unwanted person on premises.
Lisa Ann Cooper, 42, 320 E. Golden Road, Apt. A-1, was charged Tuesday with three counts of theft by deception.
Daryl Vince Corbin, 43, 3106 Fourth Ave., was charged Tuesday with abandonment of dependent child support and giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.
Jacory Kaderon Foster, 18, 3117 Third Ave., was charged Tuesday with a probation violation.
Tammy Diane Paul, 42, 4720 Old Union Road, was charged Tuesday with unwanted person on premises.
Johnny Eugene Roe, 35, 965 Old Stockton Road, Lakeland, was charged Tuesday with criminal trespass, possession of cocaine and giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.
Rhonda Michelle Smith, 44, 824 Lower Ty Ty Road, was charged Tuesday with obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers without force.
Zachary Drew Watson, 19, 142 Pines Drive, Ty Ty, was charged Monday with a probation violation.

Nikkita Monique Smith, 29, 4 Pertilla Place, Apt. 22, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Proud of diamond accomplishments of Devils, Panthers
Tift County almost pulled off an incredible feat this year, having two teams in the baseball quarterfinals.. It was a great year for baseball at all area schools, all eight of them in the postseason. Both Kyle Kirk's Tift County Blue Devils and Brad Porter's Tiftarea Academy Panthers came within an eyelash of doing even better: the final four.
