HOUSTON, Texas —
Elma D. Willis of Houston, Texas peacefully passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in Coral Springs, Fla. A memorial service will be scheduled in Houston at a later date.
Mrs. Willis was born April 29, 1935 in Tifton. She was a longtime resident of Houston and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will surely be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, James R. Willis in 2003.
Mrs. Willis is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Butler of Huntsville, Texas and Ramona Denby of Tifton; three children, Debbie Kay Blevins of Huntsville, as well as James Allen Hendrickson and Ray Hendrickson, both of Boca Raton, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Brandon Clifford, Justyn Blevins, Ali McKim, Luca Lyons, Jeanie Hendrickson, Brooke Hendrickson and Aidan Hendrickson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.

Tattnall Square tops Tiftarea, 6-2
Ernie Banks used to say, "let's play two." In a game that was as long as two and was defined early on by errors and later by a pitching duel, it would be offense that propelled the Tattnall Square Trojans past the Tiftarea Academy Panthers, 6-2 in 14 innings. Tattnall, who won the first game of the series, 4-1 before dropping game two, 6-3, will meet Mount de Sales in the Class AAA semifinals next week.
