TIFTON —
Clarice Watson Scott, 91, of Tifton died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Barber. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Antioch-Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp Co. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Scott was born in Warwick to the late Slaughter and Amzie Covington Watson. She was a retired paraprofessional with the Turner County Board of Education. She was a member of Ashburn First Baptist Church and Samaritan Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Barber of Tifton; sons, Danny (Jenny) Scott of West Columbia, S.C., and Douglas (Lee Ann) Scott of Culloden; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
