TIFTON —
The Fillies softball team at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will hold its 12th annual Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s on Jan. 19 from 8 – 10 a.m. Tickets for the breakfast are $6 each. Menu items will include pancakes and a choice of beverage. Take-out orders will also be available for those who purchase tickets in advance.
Tickets can be purchased from Coach Donna Campbell or any Fillies’ softball player. For more information or to purchase a ticket, interested persons can contact Campbell at (229) 391- 4929 or via e-mail at dcampbell@abac.edu.

“Keep calm and stop the violence,” “Save our streets” and “No more violence” were the words echoed by Eighth Street Middle School students early Tuesday morning as they stood in front of the school behind caution tape and orange cones, shouting and holding up signs as they waved at passing motorists who smiled and returned the gesture.
