Northside Primary gains Target grant for books and instruments

TIFTON — Both the media center and music programs at Northside Primary School received grants from the Target Corporation recently. The music program utilized the funds to buy drums and supplies. The grant is also being used to bring the Dancing Drum Interactive program to the school for the fourth consecutive year. The media center purchased new high interest books for the students. Northside Primary Media Specialist Tracey Dicks said of the grant, “Thank you, Target, for supporting the music and reading programs at Northside!” Pictured on the front row, left to right, are Northside Primary students Chloe Moore, Shakira Pittman, Chasity Johnson, Gwyn Conner and Bowen Becton.
