Beatrice Buckhanon, 71, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. March 4 at Zion Hope Missionary Church. The Rev. Larry will officiate. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Burgess Funeral Home.
Walter Gus Knisel Jr., 83, of Savannah, formerly of Tifton, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors. Among Mr. Knisel’s survivors is his wife, Wilma Knisel of Savannah.
