Annie Will LeSueur Pearman, 86, of Chula died March 5, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula. The Rev. Larry Layfield will officiate with burial to follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. Her grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Dustin Wheeler, Josh Barnes, Jake Wells, Zack Webb, as well as nephews, Royce Cromer and Larry Cromer will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult Ladies III Sunday school class at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula and the staff of South Georgia Medicine and the staff of Tifton Endoscopy Center. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Pearman was born December 25, 1926 in Tift County and was the daughter of Stephen Drew LeSueur and Addie Calhoun LeSueur, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Roy Pearman; one brother, Stephen Lionel LeSueur; and three sisters, Margaret Cromer, Mary Frances LeSueur and Wynelle LeSueur. She was employed with Reliant Property Management and South Georgia Medicine. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula, where she was the church pianist for many years and loved to play for the church. She loved her grandkids and great-grands and was affectionately known as "Mema."
Mrs. Pearman is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Pam and Garry Wheeler and Sherry Barnes, all of Chula; four grandchildren and their spouses, Dustin and Renny Wheeler, Josh Barnes, Darah and Jake Wells and Dinah and Zack Webb; and three great-grandchildren, Oliviah Webb, Owen Wells and Liam Wheeler; and a very special friend, Bonnie Cwiek.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 293 Mount Zion Church Road, Chula, GA 31733.
