TIFTON —
A truck driver from Ridge Manor, Fla. was found dead in his semi Wednesday afternoon at Lowe’s Home Improvement on Highway 82 West, says Detective Dorminey McCrae at the Tifton Police Department.
According to an incident report filed at the TPD, a Lowe’s employee called 911 at approximately 3:54 p.m. to report a possibly deceased person in one of the loading trucks outside the company. The man told police that the truck was loaded at 8 a.m. and had not moved since that time.
While the employee was calling 911, another Lowe’s employee went to the semi and opened the door to check for any signs of life. He reported that the driver inside the truck was cold to the touch, so he backed out until law enforcement arrived.
The report states that officers found 63-year-old Willie Leon Nobles Jr. lying in the floor of the cab in between the seats on his stomach; he showed no signs of life. The coroner and investigators were called to the scene.
McCrae said Nobles appeared to have died from a heart attack.
He added Nobles drove for the company Greenbush Logistics in Abbeville, Ala., which picked up the semi that Nobles was driving Thursday morning.

May 21 Column – George F. Will
Leaving aside the seriousness of lawlessness, and the corruption of our civic culture by the professionally pious, this past week has been amusing. There was the spectacle of advocates of an ever-larger regulatory government expressing shock about such government's large capacity for misbehavior. And, entertainingly, the answer to the question "Will Barack Obama's scandals derail his second-term agenda?" was a question: What agenda?
