Grace Baptist VBS

TIFTON — Grace Baptist Church, 1900 W. Golden Road, will hold Vacation Bible School with the Foote family (clowns Dewey and Daisy) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 6-10. TIFTON — Dial-A-Prayer is available 24 hours a day at 382-2484.



Church Anniversary

TIFTON — Strickland Temple will celebrate its 87th church anniversary at 7 nightly through Sunday with different speakers each night.



REVIVAL

TIFTON — Springfield Baptist Church, MLK Drive, will have their annual church revival at 7:30 nightly through Friday. Guest Evangelist will be the Rev. Willie J. Lawson of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Atlanta. Visiting guest tonight will be St. Paul of Sylvester, Thursday will be Cornelius and Friends Praise Assembly Choir and Friday will be Day Spring Baptist Church. The Rev. R. L. Drake is pastor.



Gospel Sing

ADEL — A gospel sing featuring The Singing Echoes, The Faithful Servants, Johnna King and the Rev. Ken Williams will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God on Massee Post Road in Adel. Admission is free; a love offering will be accepted.



DEACON PROGRAM

TY TY — The Bethany Missionary Baptist Church of TyTy will be having their Deacon and Deaconess Program at 5 p.m. Sunday. Samuel l. Pridgon is pastor.



Musical Celebration

LENOX — Joy Temple, 72 North Broad St., Lenox, will hold a musical celebration featuring Minister Nicholas Stroud and These Are They of Atlanta, Sister Anne Weathers and Collective Praise of Albany and the Joy Temple Ensemble at 5 p.m. July 11. Bishop Q.S. Caldwell will bring the message.



YOUTH DAY

TIFTON — G.M.I.C. Chapter has rescheduled their Youth Day in the Park from May 23 to 11 a.m. July 11 at Fulwood Park. There will be a live radio promotion from 1 to 2 p.m. Featured performers will be the Gospel Starlights of Tifton, Golden Angels of Ashburn and the Anointed Voices of Ocilla. Other choirs, praise dancers and speakers will be performing. Free games, food and prizes are available. Bring lawn chairs. Contact Victoria Alexander at 387-0617 for more information.
