Special Services

TIFTON — A study of Dewey Burton’s teachings on “Daniel’s Time Line Prophesies in the Tribulation” will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Trinity Worship Center, 715 Brighton Road. Elmer Golden is pastor. For more information call 402-1644.



Gospel Sing

FITZGERALD — A gospel sing featuring The Inspirations from Bryson City, N.C., will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Grand Theatre in Fitzgerald. Advanced tickets will be $12 per person and can be purchased from Grand Theatre in Fitzgerald, Sears in Fitzgerald, The Lamb’s Well in Cordele, Gospel World in Douglas and Lion Chasers in Tifton. Tickets will be $15 at the door. All proceeds will benefit Grace Christian Academy in Mystic.



Women’s Convention

LENOX — Joy Temple Celebration of Praise Ministries Inc., 72 North Broad St., Lenox, will hold its Women’s Convention 2009 with seminars beginning at 6 p.m. and services beginning at 7:30 through Thursday, and an 11 a.m. service Saturday. Speakers will be Evangelist Mary Floyd of Faith Apostolic Deliverance Church in Atlanta, Pastor Angelic D. Simmons of New Citadel of Hope Christian Church in Atlanta, Pastor Jill Mattock of God’s Guys and Girls Regenerated Ministries in Jamaica, N.Y., and Elder Marie A.P. Bohanan. Friends and Family Day

TY TY — Bethany Missionary Baptist Church of Ty Ty will be having its Friends and Family Day service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Samuel L. Pridgon is pastor.



Friends Day

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield United Methodist Church will celebrate Friends Day at 11 a.m. Sunday with dinner to follow in the social hall.



Fruit of the Spirit Tea

TIFTON — The Second District Women’s Auxiliary of Fowltown Missionary Baptist Association will hold a “Fruit of the Spirit Tea” fundraiser at 4 p.m. Sunday at Three Graces at Lankford Manor. Donations will be taken to help support church youth. Door prizes will be given. Come dressed in your Sunday best and bring your favorite cup of tea.



Enrichment Services

TIFTON — Hope Church of God Apostolic, 106 MLK Drive, will have enrichment services emphasizing the Seven Churches of Asia at 7:30 nightly Sept. 14 through 20.



Members Reunion Sing

LENOX — The Southeastern Gospel Music Association will have a former members reunion sing at 3 p.m. Sept. 19 at Lenox Christian Fellowship Church. Members of the GMA since 1983 will be singing along with South Georgia Quartet, The Attaways, Chosen, The Greers, Shades of Grace, New Horizon, The Guernsey Family, The Pack Family, The Palmers, The Gospel Echoes, Tom Morton and others.



Anniversary

ASHBURN — The Spiritual Crusader of Tifton will be celebrating its 53rd anniversary beginning at 4 p.m. Sept. 20 at St. Luke Baptist Church in Ashburn. There will be performances by the Golden Angels of Ashburn, Starlights of Tifton and the Crusaders of Tifton. The Rev. Tommy Washington is pastor.
