Diocese Convention

TIFTON — Mount Calvary Holiness Church, 2399 Old Ocilla Road, will be hosting Diocese Convention 2009 for the churches of the House of God Saints in Christ Inc. at 7:30 tonight. The convention will end with a Youth Explosion at noon Saturday. Elder Charlie Jackson is host pastor. Bishop Walter Walker, Diocese Bishop of Georgia H.O.G.S.I.C. will be guest speaker.

ANNUAL MEETING

TIFTON — Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church will hold its annual meeting at 7:30 tonight. Elder Mickey Durden of Swainsboro will be the guest minister.

Revival

CHULA — Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula will hold their weekend revival, “Believe and Belong,” at 7 tonight and Saturday night and at 11 a.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be Eddie Middleton of the contemporary Christian group NewSong. Pastor is the Rev. Larry Layfield.

Musical

TIFTON — The Voices of Faith will be having a musical at 6 p.m. Saturday at Travelers’ Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
