FARMERS' MARKET
TIFTON — The Downtown Farmers' Market is open every Saturday morning through July from 8 to 11 a.m. at the train museum platform, corner of Tift and Third. Local produce, preserves, baked goods, plants, traditional crafts and a children's activity are available. First Thursday markets, from 4 to 7 p.m., continue through the summer as well. GREENWOOD COMMITTEE
TIFTON — The Greenwood Cemetery Committee asks all men who have a loved one buried in the cemetery to come to a meeting at 3 p.m. July 11 at Springfield Baptist Church. All churches are asked to send at least two representatives.
Old-Fashioned Day
WILLACOOCHEE — The 30th annual Willacoochee Old-Fashioned Day Celebration will be held July 11 and 12 at City Park in Willacoochee. All clubs, organizations, churches and individuals may attend. Summer Reading Program
TIFTON — Children of all ages are invited to “Be Creative!” during the Tifton-Tift County Public Library’s 2009 Vacation Reading Program. Each child will receive a log book to record the titles of books they read this summer, and incentive prices are awarded for every 10 books read and recorded in the reading log.
