Halloween Farmers' Market
TIFTON — Saturday, the Downtown Tifton Farmers' Market will have special activities and treats for Halloween. A kids' pumpkin decorating (paint and etching) contest will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with prizes awarded afterward. "Pat the Pea," the market’s new mascot will be there and vendors will be selling healthy seasonal treats, local produce, baked goods and handicrafts. Free treat to anyone in a costume!

Alumni Cheerleaders
TIFTON — A TCHS Alumni Cheerleader Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at Brodie Field. The group will meet at the north ticket gate for food, fun and cheering. Disability workshop
TIFTON — A disability workshop for parents and professionals dealing with children with disabilities will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Leroy Rogers Center, 315 W. Second St. There will be speakers from Parent to Parent of Georgia, the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities and Georgia’s Advocacy Office. Poker Run
ASHBURN — Ashburn Women’s Club will hold a poker run Nov. 7 at La Hacienda’s Mexican Restaurant in Ashburn. Registration will start at 10 a.m. with the first bike out at 11 a.m. and the last bike in at 5 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available. The winning hand will get $150. All proceeds go to help provide hot Thanksgiving meals to unfortunate families in the area.

TIFTON — The Downtown Farmers' Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday morning, year-round.
