Bible Study

Emancipation

Proclamation Service

TIFTON — Emancipation Proclamation services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Southern Avenue Church of God in Christ. Patrick Ford of Tifton will be the guest speaker. Reather Campbell is pastor.



Choir Anniversary

Gospel Sing

SUMNER — A gospel sing featuring The Georgia Boys and Living Water will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Old Sumner School in Sumner. A love offering will be accepted. For more information, call J.R. at (229) 271-8096.



First Sunday Gospel

TIFTON — Beulah Hill Baptist Church, 512 W. 23rd St., will have a First Sunday Gospel Explosion at 6 p.m. Sunday. Several gospel groups and soloists will be performing. Special guests include Coco and The Chosen Ones of Morven, Tony Kincaid and The Spiritual Doves of Adel, A.C. Bradswell and the Joyful Wonders of Valdosta and the Strawter Sisters of Valdosta. Admission is free. The Rev. L.C. Solomon is pastor.

TIFTON — New Bethel Pentecostal Church will have its annual Women’s Day program at 3 p.m. Jan. 17. The guest speaker will be Minister Janice Johnson of Mount Zion Baptist of Brookfield. The church is located at 1008 Doc Melton Sr. Drive.
