TIFTON — Revival

TIFTON — Members of Tifton's First Assembly say the church is experiencing the move of God in revival fire. Their Miracle Crusade with Evangelist Gloria Kramer of Newburgh, Ind., has been extended. Services will continue today at 10:45 a.m. and 7p.m. Tifton's First Assembly is located at 1800 N. Central Ave. (at the big boat). For more information, call 382-5437 or 402-2094.



Woman of Faith

TIFTON —A Woman of Faith program will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 with various speakers, at New Bethel Pentecostal Church, 1008 Doc Melton Sr. Drive.  Pastor is Elder James Carter.



Special Meeting

TIFTON — River of Life Church, 2214 Tyson Ave., will hold a special meeting Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The guest speaker will be Dr. John David Kirby. Dr. Kirby has a prophetic-healing ministry incorporated with teaching and preaching the word of God. OMEGA — Simmon Grove Baptist Church will hold its Old Fashioned Day at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 19. The pastor is the Rev. Bobby Robinson.



Black History

Program

TIFTON — Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2113 Southern Ave., will hold its annual service in observance of Black History Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Kechia Graves. The pastor of Shiloh is the Rev. Rudolph Porter.

 

Special program

TIFTON —  In observance of Black History Month, St. Johns Youth Department will hold a special program at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 25.



Valentine Banquet

OMEGA — Simmon Grove Baptist Church will hold its Valentine banquet at 7 p.m. Feb. 24. Special guest will be the Rev. Johnny Green of Warner Robins. The pastor is the Rev. Bobby Robinson.

 

Fill the chair

TIFTON — Holy Temple Church of the Trinity Inc., 1103 Doc Melton Sr. Drive, is holding its annual “Fill the Chair” program at 6 p.m. Feb. 26. The guest speaker will be Bishop C.L. Program

ASHBURN — Zion Hope Baptist Church, 521 Joe Lawrence Road, will host a black history program at 3 p.m. Feb. 26. For more information contact Jennie Merriweather at 567-2747. The pastor is the Rev. William Leggett.

 

Revival

TIFTON — Mount Calvary Holiness Church, Old Ocilla Road, holds a two-night revival at 6:30 p.m. March 1 and 2. Guest speaker is Tomika Hightower-Webb. The pastor is Elder Charlie Jackson.

 

Donations Needed

TIFTON — The Hosanna Outreach Ministry of St. John Holiness Church, will be giving food and clothes to the needy at 11 a.m. March 3 at 2910 Sixth Ave. Any and all donations for this event will go to those in need. Birthday Sing

SYLVESTER — Douglas birthday sing will be held at 6 p.m., March 3 at New Life Tabernacle, 752 Douthit Road, with the Attaways and the Faithful Servants. Bring a covered dish and enjoy food and fellowship after the singing.



Women’s

Conference

FITZGERALD — The Fitzgerald Women’s Conference has partnered with JoyJoy Ministries to bring the “Outrageous and Contagious” Women’s Conference on March 3 at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be on your own. The one-day event features Dove Award Winning music artist Cheri Keaggy from Nashville, Tenn. Proverbs 31 Ministries Speaker Whitney Capps from Social Circle will share. A local group, Team Radiate, including Tammy Arant, Amanda Hayes and Joyce Ashley, will minister throughout the day. Rummage and

Bake Sale

TIFTON — Lifehouse Ministries will hold a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. March 10 at the old Northside Sanctuary. Rummage sale items and baked goods can be dropped off at the site from 5 until 6 p.m. March 6-8. Contact Peggy Evans at 229-392-9000 to schedule a time to drop off items. All proceeds benefit pregnant and parenting mothers/fathers in the Lifehouse program.



Gospel Sing

SUMNER — Parten and Williams Gospel Promotion’s will host a gospel sing at 7 p.m. March 10 at Pinehill Baptist Church, 284 Pine Hill Road. Special guests will be Buddy Liles (former bass singer of the Florida Boys) and Living Water Quartet of Sylvester. For more information call 402-3392. The pastor is Donnie Wright.

 

Friends and Family

TIFTON — Mount Calvary Holiness Church, Old Ocilla Road, will hold its annual friends and family day at 3:30 p.m. March 18. Guest speaker is Minister A. Henry Thomas. The pastor is Elder Charlie Jackson.
