A WINNING HOSPITAL: Tift Regional Medical Center has been named as a 2023 Top Performer in Environmentally Preferred Sourcing Excellence.

TIFTON — U.S. News & World Report has recognized Tift Regional Medical Center as a top performer in the treatment of heart attacks and strokes in 2023.

“This is an exceptional achievement,” said Alex Le, TRMC chief operating officer. “TRMC has consistently demonstrated its dedication to providing high-quality medical services and this recognition serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our health care professionals. Achieving this distinction highlights the strides being made in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care offered.”

Released Aug. 1, the 2023-24 Best Hospitals Specialty Rankings by U.S. News & World Report highlight medical centers from around the country that deliver top-tier outcomes across various areas of care, hospital representatives said in a statement.

The U.S. News & World Report’s metrics are widely regarded as a benchmark for health care quality, with a focus on evaluating hospitals based on patient outcomes, safety and clinical excellence.

TRMC was rated as “high performing” in heart attack and stroke care metrics.
