AMERICUS- The following area residents were among 465 students who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Fall 2023 Commencement Ceremony held on Thursday, December 14 in the Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center.

Christen York of Chula earned a master’s degree in elementary education.

Janki Patel of Tifton earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in management.

Angela Eady of Tifton earned a specialist degree in special education.

Marisol Griffis of Tifton earned a specialist degree in special education.
