Fillies win three from FSCJ, Thomas

TIFTON — Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College split softball games Feb. 10 against Florida State College at Jacksonville.
The Fillies came from behind to win the opener, 7-6, but fell 2-0 in the finale.

ABAC trailed 5-0 in the bottom of the 2nd before an Ashley Archibald three-run homer brought them to within a run at 4-3.
Dylana Barton drove in two runs for the Fillies. Ava Roland and Alli Eidson each scored twice.
Anna Hutchinson pitched six spotless innings of relief, surrendering only three hits and no runs.
Jaci Smiley had a double in the second game, one of only three hits for ABAC. In the circle, Smiley allowed two earned runs and struck out three.
ABAC swept Thomas University’s junior varsity teams Tuesday, 10-2 and 8-4. They will host Chattahoochee Valley Community College Saturday, Feb. 17, with first pitch at 2 p.m.
