TIFTON — Tift County baseball will be back home a day earlier than scheduled. Athletic director Chris Martin announced the doubleheader with Northside has been moved up one day, to Thursday.

Heavy rains are predicted Friday and Saturday in the area. Martin said soccer versus Houston County is still on for Friday because of availability of officials.

The Diamond Devils ran their Region 1-6A record to 7-0 Tuesday. They had a non-region game scheduled at Mary Persons at Forsyth Wednesday.
