TIFTON — Veteran comedian James Gregory is staged to bring his goofs and gags to the Tift Theatre.

With decades of experience and the title of “The Funniest Man in America” under his belt, the stand-up comedian will host a comedy show the evening of Feb. 16 for Tifton residents to enjoy.

Emphasizing family friendly content that skips out on politics or current events, Gregory’s brand of humor draws from his own experiences and life that he hopes will not only make Tifton laugh, but leave that audience happy they came out to the show.

“It’s the kind of comedy that I hope that they’ll talk about for two or three days afterward,” Gregory said. “They might talk to their neighbor or their coworkers about what a great night they had, with a very positive-type show.”

Gregory regularly shows off his humor in tours across the South and on radio shows broadcast nationwide, and has starred alongside performers like Kenny Chesney, George Jones, and Reba McEntire. Following his performance at Tift Theatre, he plans to host a show in Springfield, Ga. on Feb. 17.
