Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen (Bobby) Conner of Ocilla, Georgia proudly announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Miranda Grace (Randi) Conner, to Philip Bennett Drake III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Drake of Columbus, Ohio. 

The couple met while living in New York City and recently relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. 

Ms. Conner is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Newt and the late Mrs. Gracie Hudson of Rochelle and the late Mr. Joel and the late Mrs. Cindy Conner also of Rochelle, Georgia. 

Ms. Conner is a 2004 honor graduate of Irwin County High School. She attended the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. At the present time, Ms. Conner is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree at the University of Georgia and employed by the marketing agency, Ignition Holdings LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia as an Account Director.

Mr. Drake is the grandson of Mrs. Fleur Metzger and the late Mr. Charles Metzger of Granville, Ohio and the late Mr. Philip Bennett Drake Sr. and the late Mrs. Marilyn Elizabeth Drake of Columbus, Ohio. 

Mr. Drake graduated from Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he was four-year letterman for the Buckeye’s lacrosse team and graduated with a Bachelor of Political Science degree. Currently, Mr. Drake is employed with VMWare in Atlanta, Georgia as a Sales Account Executive. 

A spring destination wedding is set for the 16th of April 2016 in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
