Ras Kenneth Head Jr.

FORSYTH — Ras Kenneth Head Jr., 60, of Forsyth, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004.

Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 15, in Monroe Hills in Forsyth.

Mr. Head was born in Omega. He was the son of the late Ras Kenneth Head Sr. He was a retired boilermaker.

He became affiliated with Sovereign Church of Elohiym International in 1996. He was ordained as deacon May 1999.

Mr. Head is survived by his wife, Linda Head of Macon; his mother, Willadean Daniel Head of Macon; his children, Ray (Leslie) Head of Macon, Sherry (Darrell) Walker of Macon, Gregory (Michelle) Head of Forsyth, and Anna (Kane) Bradfield of LaGrange; his grandsons, Zachary Head, Makarious Bradfield, and Michael Head; his sisters, Gloria (Grant) Chatham of Allen, Texas, and Dwillene (Johnny) Fullington of Macon; one niece, Carrie (Eric) Thompson of Macon; and two nephews, Randy Fullington of Atlanta and Doug (Julie) Fullington of North Carolina.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel had charge of arrangements.



Frances Helen Bradley Kennedy

TIFTON — Frances Helen Bradley Kennedy, 87, of Tifton, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Cypress Pond.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Homerville. Dr. W. Ches Smith III and the Rev. Ken Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery in Homerville.

Pallbearers will be Bryce Kennedy III, Allen Kennedy II, Tom Kennedy, John Carter Jr., Josh Carter, Scott Veazey, Brent James and Allan Chainaberry.

The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Tift Area, P.O. Box 747, Tifton, GA 31793, or to the American Parkinson’s Disease Assoc., 1250 Hylan Blvd., Suite 4B, Staten Island, NY 10305.

Born Oct. 20, 1917, in Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Kennedy was the daughter of John Bradley and Ella Thomas Bradley, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Kennedy Sr.; a sister, Polly Bradley Pitsinger; and a daughter, Joy Kennedy Carter.

Mrs. Kennedy had lived in Homerville for 63 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Homerville, where she taught the Lottie Moon Dickerson Ladies’ Sunday School Class. She served as president of the Homerville Woman’s Club and was a member of the board of directors of Empire Banking Co.

Survivors include two sons, Bryce Kennedy Jr. of Tifton and Allen Kennedy II of Homerville; one brother, John G. Bradley of Daytona Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
