James
Fisher Griner
GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — James Fisher Griner, 75, of Green Cove Springs, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Fla.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Irwin County with Elder Ed McIntyre officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at The Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla.
Mr. Griner was born on Oct. 17, 1930, in Irwin County. He was the son of the late Aubrey and Myrtle Holt Griner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Emmaline Martin Griner.
Mr. Griner attended Georgia Southern College and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era. He was a retired Safety Officer with Mayport Naval Base. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
Mr. Griner is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mona and John Weber of Green Cove Springs, Fla.

James Crawford Holt
LENOX — James Crawford Holt, 82, of Lenox, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with Henry Crumley officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors — Tiftarea Chapel.
Mr. Holt was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Irwin County to James Murphy Holt and Annie Lillian King Holt, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Freeman Holt; one grandson, Michael Holt; four brothers; and six sisters. Mr. Holt was a retired farmer.
Surviving Mr. Holt are his wife, Inez Holt of Lenox; three sons, James Marcus Holt and Margaret Holt of Lenox, John Randy Holt and Carl Lasco of Watkinsville, and Matthew Bartlett Holt and Susan Holt of Lenox; two daughters, Joy Ann Parker of Adel and Judy Marie Hall and Ronnie Hall of Brookfield; two brothers, J.T. Holt, and Virgil Holt of Atlanta; three sisters, Marie Rutland of Lenox, Ruth Kollmeyer of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carol Nahley of Columbus; 13 grandchildren, Robert Clark, Will Holt, Matt Holt, Katie Robinson, Ryane Canfield, Ashley Parker, Erin Parker, Heather Hall, Lindsey Hall, Holly Hall, Zack Hall, Matthew Holt and John Holt; and six great-grandchildren, Andrew Harper, Tara Clark, Seth Clark, Claudia Clark, Kelsi Canfield, Sammy Canfield and Nathan Hall.
