ATVs wreaking havoc
“I think it’s very sad and unfortunate that so many teens have lost their lives in South Georgia due to ATV accidents, and what I don’t understand is why law enforcement doesn’t enforce the laws that say they can’t drive on public roads. I live on a dirt road in Tift County, and you can see the evidence of four-wheeler tracks all over the road seven days a week and it causes the county to have to scrape the roads numerous times. I just don’t understand why these laws couldn’t be enforced and maybe all these teens wouldn’t have to lose their lives; you know, they would be stopped before that would happen.”
Still hungry
“Tifton needs to have some more restaurants. We need to have a Ryan’s restaurant here in Tifton and an International House of Pancakes restaurant. We need those restaurants in Tifton.”
Friendly service
“This Rave is for Kathy at Dr. David Johnson’s office. Kathy, I just want to let you know that I think you are one of the best employees that Dr. Johnson could ask for. She’s very friendly, she’s there to help and she cares about the patient. Thank you, Kathy.”
Wouldn’t advise it
“It seems that the armed services are having a real big problem getting qualified personnel to serve, and that’s easy to understand. You know, the retirees used to tell all the young people, well, you should go in and join the Army or the Navy or so forth, and today, after all the lies that the government had told the retirees years ago about the health care and so on that they’ve reneged on, I don’t know any retiree that would recommend to any young person to go in the service.”
Appreciate the water
“I’d like to leave a big Rave for Goforth Pump for restoring water to the Spring Hill area of Tifton Tuesday. We greatly appreciate your hard work. Thanks a lot.”
A true blessing
“I want to Rave about all the good people at Tifton Hospice. They have been a God sent blessing to our family.”
Treat military better
“I am upset at what it cost a military family to send our loved ones in Iraq or foreign country a care package. I think the least this country could do for our military is supply them with the things they need while they are deployed. We want to send them to fight for us but we don’t want to supply them with the things they need, they have to rely on their families back home to do that for them. Why can’t we back our military the way we should?”
Sad treatment
“I am a veteran U.S. military officer of eight years’ active duty service at great hardship, sacrifice, and risk. Prisoners and illegal aliens, now, in this nightmare called ‘America,’ get better medical and dental care than I do, which is none at all.”
