No respect for traitors

“I see in New York where a bunch of these traitors are lying around out in the streets to block traffic because they’re against the war. I have no respect for people that would do this sort of thing when our boys are dying and going through what they’re going through to make this a safe country. You know, the people that are doing this don’t realize that they are fighting for them too.”

Is there a difference?

“It’s very difficult for me to understand the scandal at the University of Georgia basketball program. After all, aren’t all grades at the University of Georgia academic fraud? From a Georgia Tech graduate.”

It’s about money

“There seems to be some question in lots of people’s minds about the real motivation for this war. Could it be that the hundreds of billions of dollars worth of contracts that are going to start being let this week by the U.S. government have any bearing on that? This is a financial war. It’s not about bin Laden. It’s not about Saddam Hussein. It’s about repaying Cowboy Bush’s people who put him where he is and to make them richer than they are. It’s as plain as the nose on your face.”

Start the spraying

“I think it’s about past time that the mosquito sprayer got started up in Tift County. With all the water and the rain that we’ve had, it needs to be done immediately.”

Braves keep going

“My Rant is, I had a dream the other night that the Atlanta Braves were facing Tom Glavine in a New York Mets uniform, and the very next night they faced Kevin Millwood in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform. And then I woke up and realized that it was a reality. But the reality also is that the Braves will still win the pennant this year.”

Need more NASCAR

“The Tifton paper has got coverage of every sport on Fridays and during the week except for NASCAR and Busch. Why don’t they do something about that and take out some of this golf that nobody plays around here and put something in that’s interesting.”

Free to question

“George W. Bush, our troops, and our country are all one and the same. If you want to live with a president and ruling party that are above being questioned, why don’t you move to Iraq. I will stay here where it is right to hold our leaders accountable for their actions.”

My prerogative

“This is for the rant in Friday’s paper intitled ‘Going Overboard.’ Poodles are from Germany, not France. We are so blessed in having a president who loves this country as much as our military. God bless President Bush and may God bless our military and this wonderful free country we live in. My fries, green beans, salad dressing and manicures are all called ‘Freedom.’

Great sign

“I really like the sign at the service station across the street from the First Baptist Church and I agree with it wholeheartedly: ‘Support our troops or move to France.’ God bless you and all our troops everywhere.”

Parents’ responsibility

“To the person who Raved about a probation officer. Today, the parents should be the probation officers. We have let our children get out of control and expects the system to get them back into control. Mothers and fathers take back control over your kids. Don’t let the system raise your kids.”

Can’t stop it

“Are we now to believe that a war on terrorism is to succeed where a war on drugs or a war on illegal immigration did not? Are we to believe that the U.S. government can stop professionally trained and equipped terrorists where it couldn’t stop uneducated drug dealers and undocumented workers?”
