Mack Terrell Nash

NASHVILLE — Mack Terrell Nash, 62, of Nashville, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at South Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lovein Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 25, 1943, in Berrien County, Nash was the son of Calvin Buie Nash and Nellie Carter, both deceased.

A Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy, Nash was a farmer and horse trainer.

He is survived by two daughters, Darlene Garner of Ray City; Donna Nash of Ray City; two sons, Tim Nash of Slidell, La.; Keith Nash of Douglasville; a sister, Alene Griner of Nashville; a brother, Carson Nash of Nashville; and 15 grandchildren.

Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



James Loran Harnage

TIFTON — James Loran Harnage, 86, of Tifton, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Tift Health Care.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Ricky Revels will officiate. Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Maurell Harnage, Delane Payne, Keith Payne, Jackie Black, Jackie Blanchard, Michael Spears, Wayne Harnage and Cagney Harnage will serve as pallbearers.

Born Dec. 15, 1919, in Cook County, Mr. Harnage was the son of Henry Joseph Harnage and Morris Harnage, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lolla Doris Revels Harnage, who died in 1992.

A retired truck driver, Harnage was a member of the Holiness faith and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He lived in Tift County most of his life.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Linda Harnage of Tifton; his daughters, Regina, Geneva and Levenial Harnage, all of Tifton; a brother, Henry Harnage of Tifton; 16 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
