The ninth annual Sweetheart Run was held here Saturday at the Rehabilitation Services of Tifton. The event consisted of a 5K run, as well as a one mile run/walk.

The overall male winner of the 5K was John Seppala of Valdosta, 16:55. The overall female winner was Kristen Ray of Nicholls, 20:36. The masters male winner was Todd Smoot of Valdosta, 18:13. The masters female winner was Deborah Ansley of Cairo, 25:13.
