Tollie Ray Horne Sr.
LESTER — Tollie Ray Horne Sr., 70, of the Lester community, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla. The Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate. Interment will follow at Pebble City Church Cemetery.
Ronnie Thompson Sr., Ronnie Thompson Jr., Jay Thompson, Ron Morey, Chance Dennis and Brant Harrell will serve as pallbearers.
Born Jan. 11, 1936 in Mitchell County, Mr. Horne was a truck driver for Firestone and was an Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Horne was the son of the late Ella Cora McCook and Virgil Lee Horne and was preceded in death by brothers James Horne and Jimmy Horne and a sister, Sarah Crawford.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Thompson Horne of the Lester community; sons Buddy Hurst and wife Sharon of Moultrie, Ray Horne Jr. and wife MIchelle of Moultrie, Gary Wayne Horne of Funston and Tray Horne of the Lester community; daughters Sheila Jones and husband Rayburn of Omega and Sidney Woodall and husband Scott of Omega; a brother, Robert Lee Horne of Moultrie; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Leether Peacock Hogan
FORSYTH — Leether Peacock Hogan, 79, of Forsyth, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Jelley officiating. Interment will follow at Irwinville Cemetery, Irwinville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, and at Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
Mrs. Hogan was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Ben Hill County, to the late A.C. and Mattie Rutherford Peacock. She had lived in Forsyth since 1956, moving there from Irwinville. She was a retired dietician from Goodwill Nursing Home and was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Hogan is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James W. Hogan Jr. and Judi Hogan of Macon; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Mark Potts of Forsyth; one grandson, Jason Hogan; three great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Mavis Griffin of Newport News, Va., and Illine Stanfill of Fitzgerald; one brother, Johnny Peacock of Macon; a sister-in-law, Virginia Hogan of Irwinville; as well as many adoring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hogan, and a sister, Helen Wilcox.

Thomas R. Moye
BARNESVILLE — Thomas R. Moye, 68, of Barnesville, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Pastor Tommy Smith will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Shan Adams, Armando Trejo, Dre Brown, Brian Mangram, Rudy Adams, Bruce Smith, Michael Moye and Nick Smith will serve as pallbearers.
Born Feb. 23, 1938 in Tift County, Mr. Moye was the son of Jack and Rosalie Thrasher Moye, both deceased. He was a retired dispatcher for a trucking company and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Sherry and Rudy Adams of Tifton, Tomi and Brian Mangram of Barnesville, Tracy Moye of Barnesville and Derenda Davis of Barnesville; a brother, Michael Moye of Gainesville, Fla.; two sisters, Jackie Moye Smith of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Doris Jones of Albany; and seven grandchildren, Jana Adams, Lance Welch, Kaleb Welch, Whitney Welch, Madison Davis, Bailey Mangram and Dixie Mangram.

Millie (Carmela) Arena
APPLING— Millie (Carmela) Arena, 86, of Appling died peacefully in her sleep at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Lake Crossing Health Center in Appling. She will be buried at 2 p.m. today at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. A Mass was held in her honor on Sunday at Saint Williams Catholic Church in Fitzgerald. Fr. Dan O’Connell presided over the Mass and her grandson, Michael, was an altar server.
Born on Oct. 18, 1919, she was the mother of three sons, Joseph Arena Jr. of New York, Gerald Arena of Florida and Michael C. Arena of Fitzgerald. She was the grandmother of Michael C. Arena Jr. and mother-in-law of Dr. Jean Rachels-Arena, also of Fitzgerald. Millie was one of eight children. Her parents were Joseph and Josie DiBenedetto of New York.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Vito and Joey, and her surviving brothers and sisters are Angelo, Vic, Connie, Gloria and Ray. She is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Arena.
Millie was a resident of Lake Crossing Health Center in Appling for 11 years.
