Owen Miles Armstrong
TIFTON — Owen Miles Armstrong, infant, of Tifton, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, in the Tift Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
Owen was born on Jan. 9, 2007, to Jeffery and Devin Teal Armstrong of Tifton. His parents have lived in Tifton for one and one-half years and both are members of the Tift Avenue Church of God.
In addition to his parents, Owen is survived by one brother, Ethan Armstrong of Tifton; his paternal grandparents, James and Helen Armstrong of Villa Ridge, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Denise Tal of Union Missouri; his paternal great-grandmother, Helen Yager of New Jersey; and his maternal great-grandparents, Avery and Shirley Rogers of Union, Missouri and Bob and Shirley Teal of St. Peters, Missouri.

Versie H. Woodruff
SYCAMORE — Versie H. Woodruff, 93, of Sycamore, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Tift Health Care following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Sycamore Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Sycamore Baptist Church.
Mrs. Woodruff was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Della Wood Hancock. She was the retired manager of the lunchroom of the Turner County School System where she served for over 25 years. She was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Walter W. Woodruff.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Helen Woodruff of Sycamore; four grandchildren, Wayne (Margaret) Woodruff of Tifton, Rhonda (Mike) Hancock of Sycamore, James A. (Regina) Woodruff Jr. of Sycamore and Jan and (Mike) Hancock of Sycamore, James A. (Regina) Woodruff Jr. of Sycamore and Jan (Mike) Howell of Ocala, Fla.; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Woodruff is also survived by a special niece, Margaret Day of Tifton.

Leona Dillard Lott
TIFTON — Leona Dillard Lott, 87, of Tifton, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Terrell Roberts and the Rev. Jimmy Sumner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ricky Baker, Wayne Cosper, Timmy Woodard, Chris Sikes, Jimmy Dillard and David Tucker will serve as pallbearers. Donald Watson, Dale Watson, Johnny Troupe, Gary Woodard, Daniel Ridgeway, Charles Mitchell and Mike Tucker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Lott was born on Sept. 20, 1919, in Tift County. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Nettie Coker Dillard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Lott; a brother; and five sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Watson of Ocilla, and several nieces and nephews.

Angela Kent Adams
SYLVESTER — Angela Kent Adams, 52, of Sylvester, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2007, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Sylvester Lighthouse Church of God. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Banks Funeral Home.
Ms. Adams was born on Oct. 11, 1954, in Colquitt County. She lived in Worth County most of her life and was a member of the Sylvester Lighthouse Church of God. She was a licensed practical nurse who loved caring for the elderly. She also loved her friends and family.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristi Adams of Sylvester; two sons and their wives, Christopher (Chris) Scott and Ginger Storey of Tifton and Kyle and Jennifer Adams of Pelham; her parents, Burris A. and Jeanette Hurst Kent of Doerun; two brothers and their wives, Alan and Terry Kent of Doerun and Geoffrey (Geoff) and Shannon Kent of Sylvester; three grandchildren, Avery and Anslee Adams and Hogan Scott Storey; two nieces; and two nephews.
