Kenneth D. “Kenny” Parker, 68, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Paulk Funerla Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Survivors include his wife, Linda Parker of Fitzgerald; his father, Litt Parker of Savannah; and a brother, Glenn Parker of Pembroke. Paulk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Flora Mae Gentle, 89, of Athens, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Family Life Enrichment Center in High Shoals. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Survivors include a duagher, Ella Gentle Howell of Athens; a son, John Wayne Gentle of Harpersville, Ala; sisters Ophelia Daner and Pauline Franklin, both of Vero Beach, Fla., and Nadine Wallace of Mobile, Ala. Paulk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hazel Flanders Emeneger, 85, of Sparks, died Friday, March 4, 2007, at Memorial Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home. Burial will be held Monday at Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home.
